Hello all! I hope your all staying cool. It is unbelievable hot here this week. Sunday I overdid it and suffered from heat exhaustion. No fun! I hope you all are smarter than me about staying hydrated and cool in this hot weather. No more cutting down tree limbs etc until it cools down a bit. ;)
Now for my post title, "Can you help identify these chairs?" My daughter bought a couple wicker chairs at a garage sale. The lady had told her she believed them from around the 1920's. My daughter had them stored in a friends building and was beginning to clean them up to give them a fresh coat of paint. Unfortunately there was a fire there one night and burnt the place to the ground. Poof went her chairs. :( She is to put a price on the value of them for the insurance company. I have looked all over for something similar to these and am coming up empty handed. Soooooo I thought who better to ask than all of you!
These are the two chairs. The white one is a rocker and the other a chair. Do they ring a bell with any of you? Thanks for looking.!! :)

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.

I have no idea, but what really neat chairs....such ashame that she lost them :(
ReplyDeleteThanks Niece. :) It was sad that they ended up in the fire. She was really excited about redoing these.
ReplyDeleteThat is too bad. I have no idea on the value, but I had similar ones a few years ago when I was very into wicker. Wish I could help! Hope all has been well with you.
